Hut Access Information
The Club has huts at Cairngorm, Glencoe, and Nevis Range. Each has different access arrangements.

As well as the catering service, each hut offers warm safe shelter for members and their families and facilities to eat packed lunches. Every adult member may introduce up to four guests each year without having to pay the Day Member fee of £2.

Huts built on Scottish mountains experience a considerable amount of wear and tear so there is a continual need for maintenance. As a result there are occasional work parties during the summer to keep these properties in good repair. Regular hut users may be contacted by their local Hut Convener to lend a hand. Please do a little to help.
Aonach Mor  (Nevis Range)
Aonach Mor Club Hut will be available throughout the season opening from 9am until the ski area shuts. If you do find the door is locked, just nip upstairs to the Snowgoose Restaurant where staff will provide you with a key. Have your Membership Card handy. During Junior Training weekends snacks and refreshments are usually provided by volunteers who may also organise impromptu social events to round off a great day's skiing. An honesty box allows members to help themselves to coffee and hot drinks or to use the microwave or cooker to rustle up something warm. Everyone making use of the hut is asked to have a quick tidy up before they leave, putting rubbish in the bins provided and ensuring that any appliances used are switched off and the outside door is properly shut. Joy Biggin (Lochaber Section Secretary) or Rhian Asker are the people to contact about the Lochaber Clubroom.
Cairngorm
Cairngorm is open at weekends when a catering service should be available serving hot drinks, soup and hot and cold snacks. A TV and video have been added to the hut primarily for race training purposes but will no doubt be an attraction for rugby fans on Saturday afternoons or wimps sheltering from rough weather. Small children can be occupied with items from the toy box but please tidy this after use. Any additions to this box will be most welcome. People using the hut are asked to help keep the place clean and tidy by clearing their tables for the next group. At the end of the day, taking a bin bag to the rubbish skip in the car park is a small task which makes a big difference to the caterers. Contact:
Glencoe
Every effort is made to have Glencoe hut  open every Saturday and Sunday throughout the season. The hut may also be open on some mid-week days if one of the volunteer stewards is on the hill. Keys are available to members on request if they expect to be taking full advantage of the often excellent mid week skiing, so don't sit out in the cold contact the convener.
At 750 metres the hut is only stone's throw away from the mid T-bar station, has ski to door access throughout the season and commands some of the most impressive views of any building in Scotland. Our peers certainly got it right in building the hut where it is, and  providing the best  warm and convenient base for skiing the mountain, regardless of todays snow conditions.
The small kitchen  with Mircrowave, cooker hot water urns and kettles.
is open and  available for use by all hut users, all that is asked is that when you use these facilities you clean up afterwards.
Recent introduction of mains electric  to the hut has improved comfort and heating, and there is a selection of toys, drawing materials and spades  to keep smaller children (and their parents) amused during those occasional snow squalls.
