Strong showing from SSC at Children's Championships!

Congratulations to our many competitors at the recent Scottish and British Children's Championships out in the Three Valleys at the beginning of April.
Congratulations, George

George Stewart, our oldest competitive member of the club [94], has been selected to carry the OLYMPIC TORCH. This is a terrific honour. We will be watching on TV. George is the current holder of the Sages Salver, awarded  in conjunction with the convenors Canter.
A fantastic end of season race was held on Saturday the 28th April on the west side of the Ptarmigan tow. It was a simply magic day with fresh powder and sunny skies, 22 racers entered the majority from the parental camp! Our oldest contestant Mike Westmacott was first down and had a spectacular crash near the end where his ski boot split in two, he finished in his socks! The trainees assisted Craig and Gary setting the course and everyone helped with times, bibs and marshalling.

A huge thank you to Craig for making the race happen !                               Results
